Here you’ll find a great mix of long cruisers and more challenging trails taking advantage of the mountain’s 1,500 vertical feet. High-speed quads service many areas of the mountain ensuring you’ll spend the majority of your time on the snow.

Snowshoe Mountain is home to the most reliable snow conditions in the region, with 180 inches of natural snow and one of the most powerful snowmaking systems in the industry. If you haven’t had your fill of the snow during the day, Snowshoe offers night skiing on 13 trails. For first timers, or those just looking to brush up on their technique, Snowshoe’s ski and snowboard school is regularly ranked among the best in the region. If you don’t want to bring your own gear, the mountain’s full-service rental shops have everything you need including the latest and greatest equipment.

Your Snowshoe Ski Vacation

Off the snow, Snowshoe Mountain’s mountaintop Village resides at 4,848 feet and provides stunning views and plenty of dining and shopping options. The majority of Snowshoe’s 1,800 lodging units are located at the mountain’s peak, many boasting ski-in/ski-out convenience. A free shuttle system makes navigating the mountaintop easy. Diners will enjoy more than 20 restaurants offering everything from slopeside convenience to sushi and Asian-fusion in a metropolitan-chic setting. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, The Backcountry Hut is Snowshoe’s hidden gem and offers an exquisite four-course meal in an intimate setting. After dark, Snowshoe’s guests still have plenty of options, from a comedy club, 21-plus night club and several bars to a fireplace for snuggling and enjoying a steaming mug of hot chocolate. For families, the Big Top entertainment center offers a multitude of video and arcade games, an indoor climbing wall and carnival-style attractions.

If you can’t bear to leave the snow, head over to the exciting 5-lane tubing hill, or cruise the mountain with a moonlit snowmobile tour. Snowshoe Mountain’s 11,000 acres offer plenty of untracked trails for cross-country and snowshoe enthusiasts. After all that action, you’ll enjoy relaxing in a hot tub or sauna at Snowshoe’s Split Rock Pools facilities. While mom and dad take in the ultimate in mountaintop relaxation, the kids will enjoy an indoor and outdoor heated pool, water slides and a dumping barrel. If you’re really looking to be pampered, head over to the Tuscan Sun Spa and Salon, located right in the heart of the Village.

Snowshoe’s family friendly atmosphere and big mountain amenities are the perfect escape for skiers and riders of all stripes.
